Graviola is a small upright evergreen tree that grows primarily in the warmest tropical regions, growing up to 5 to 6 meters (18 to 20 feet) in height with large dark green and glossy leaves. It is indigenous in the warmest tropical areas of South America, and is well known in Peru and the Amazon. All parts of the Graviola tree are used in natural medicine including the bark, leaves, roots fruit and fruit seed. Each of the various parts of the tree has specific and specialized applications, and has been used by ingenious people for hundreds of years to cure and alleviate a wide variety of ailments.

Bark and Leaves: has sedative, anti-cancer anti-parastic, hypotensive, and is used for nervine heart conditions as a tonic.
Bark tea of Graviola is used also for diabetes coughs, hypertension, liver problems, and the oil from leaves and the unripe fruit is used in combination with Olive Oil and used as an external neuralgia.
Leaves: sedative, soporific properties, and young leaves are used as a remedy for gall bladder trouble.
